DMCA Copyright Policy
Version dmca-2026-08-25 · effective August 25, 2026.
VAULTWORK DMCA COPYRIGHT POLICY
Vaultwork respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same.
Vaultwork is operated by ROA Advertising LLC d/b/a Vaultwork.
This policy describes the process for submitting copyright infringement notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
1. Important: Ideas vs. Copyrighted Expression
Copyright complaints should concern copyrighted expression, such as copied text, images, reports, graphics, or other protectable works.
The DMCA process should not be used merely because:
someone posted the same or a similar business idea;
someone independently developed a similar concept;
someone is pursuing the same market; or
you believe you were the first person to think of an idea.
Vaultwork does not adjudicate ownership of abstract ideas through the DMCA process.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
Notices of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to Vaultwork’s designated copyright agent:
DMCA Agent
ROA Advertising LLC d/b/a Vaultwork
Copyright Agent
7505 SW 32nd Street Miami, Florida 33155
Telephone: (305) 496-9841
Email: hello@vaultwork.app
3. DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe material available through Vaultwork infringes copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice to the Designated Copyright Agent containing substantially the following information:
1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by one notice, a representative list of those works.
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, together with information reasonably sufficient to allow Vaultwork to locate the material, such as the relevant Vaultwork URL.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to allow Vaultwork to contact you, such as your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright right allegedly infringed.
Incomplete notices may delay Vaultwork’s ability to respond.
4. What Vaultwork May Do After Receiving a Notice
Upon receiving a valid copyright notice, Vaultwork may:
remove or disable access to the identified material;
notify the user who submitted the material;
request additional information where appropriate;
maintain records concerning the complaint; and
take additional action under the Terms or Content Policy.
Removal of content in response to a DMCA notice is not necessarily a final determination that copyright infringement occurred.
5. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send Vaultwork’s Designated Copyright Agent a written counter-notification containing:
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States federal district court as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), and agreeing to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original infringement notice or that person’s agent.
6. Restoration After Counter-Notice
If Vaultwork receives a valid counter-notification, Vaultwork may provide a copy to the person who submitted the original notice.
Vaultwork will restore or re-enable access to the material as required by the DMCA, generally not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receipt of a valid counter-notification, unless the Designated Copyright Agent first receives notice that the complaining party has filed an action seeking a court order concerning the material.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
Vaultwork maintains a policy providing for termination or restriction, in appropriate circumstances, of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Vaultwork may consider:
valid infringement notices;
counter-notices;
judicial determinations;
repeated copying;
the nature and severity of alleged infringement;
evidence of abuse of the DMCA process; and
other relevant circumstances.
Vaultwork reserves the right to restrict or prohibit submissions from users who repeatedly violate copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
8. Misrepresentations
The DMCA provides potential consequences for knowingly making material misrepresentations concerning whether material is infringing or was removed by mistake.
You should not submit a DMCA notice or counter-notification for strategic, competitive, retaliatory, or abusive purposes.
9. Other Intellectual-Property Complaints
This DMCA process is specifically for copyright.
