A Corner Shop for Unused Gift Cards

The idea

I always end up with gift cards to stores I never go to, sitting in a drawer until they expire. I want a little counter, maybe inside an existing shop, where you drop off a card you'll never use and either trade it for store credit or swap it for one you'll actually spend. No app, no shipping, just a physical spot that takes a small cut on each trade.
