A Loaner Fleet of Kids' Winter Gear

The idea
My kid outgrows snow boots and a winter coat every single year, and buying new ones for three months of use feels ridiculous. I want a local drop-off point where families leave gear their kids have outgrown, sized and tagged, and anyone can borrow a set for the season and return it in spring. It's not a thrift store, nothing is for sale, you just sign gear out and back in like a library. Someone would need to run the sorting and sizing, but it could start with a few racks in a church basement or school gym.
That is the whole idea.
There is nothing held back on this page and nothing to buy. Nobody is building it, which is the only reason it is here. If it is yours to build, build it.
